For Sale/Close up: Cadillac CTS RHD

In this blog entry, I'm blogging about a RARE car as seen in Mofaz Jalan Ampang.  It's 2008 Unregistered UK-spec RHD Cadillac CTS.  The CTS came with 2 petrol engines.  Saab sourced 2.8 V6 with 218hp and 260Nm torque and 3.6 Quad cam V6 with 257hp and a WHOOPING 341Nm torque.  The car I spotted might be the 3.6 V6 version as the  Sales rep just told me it's a V6 engine.

 The sales rep added that this SAME MODEL's been used by Barrack Obama at 2007 as a Senator (before He became President) and his Showroom Sold 3 units already.  The Sticker price for this Cadillac is RM270,000.

CORRECTION: Apparently, this is the 2nd generation Car with 1st generation grille and rear lights (I presume to fool the customs).  The base model featured a 3.0 L variable valve timing V6 with 270 hp (201 kW) and 252 lb·ft (342 N·m) of torque. A second engine, a new 3.6 L direct-injection V6 VVT engine with 318 hp (237 kW) and 274 foot-pounds force (371 N·m) of torque was also offered. The new car came with a six-speed manual transmission as standard equipment, with GM's six-speed Hydra-matic 6L50 automatic transmission available as an option on all variants. On-demand all-wheel drive was offered with both engines when equipped with an automatic transmission.

But I still want to post it here as this is the 1st time I came across this unique car.

If you REALLY want to follow Obama Footsteps and want to buy this car, I can get you one for RM30,000 less than the RM270,000 Sticker price.  Guess MOFAZ is Braver than NAZA, I don't think NAZA got the B@LLS to import this Cadillac CTS to Malaysia.  Call me: 012-6852-718.  Jeff.
