In this blog entry, I'm posting some Close up photos of Toyota 86. Like what I said in my previous post, I was pissed by "SOMBONG" and "take it or leave it" attitude by the 2 sales advisors in UMW Toyota Sect 19, PJ 3S Branch. As a result, I won't review this car since NO TEST DRIVE allowed.
I Only want to highlights that this car's FULLY IMPORTED from Japan and comes with 7 Airbags (unlike CKD Camry 2.5's 4), Advanced VSC with LSD, Elec power steering, 6 speed manual or 6 speed Automatic. Claimed Max Speed: 226km/h manual and 210km/h auto. 0-100km/h in 7.6secs for manual and 8.2 secs for Auto. Max Power: 200ps@7000rpm and max torque: 205Nm@6400-6600rpm. This means it's a High revving FR (Front engined, rear wheel drive car) with 53:47 balance achieved.
Instead, I'm going to let the pictures do the talking. Well there's a saying a picture's worth 1000 words, here are the photos:

Smallish but usable boot space
Optional 6 speed sequential automatic. RM249,000. Manual for RM243,000.
Above: Dashboard reminds me of Porsche Boxster. Esp. the Centre Air vents.
Above: Pillarless door windows. Below: Rear seats strictly for kids below 10.
Above: Paddle shift and Auto cruise topped with "Red stitching" everywhere.
Above: Legendary Double wishbone rear Suspension and chassis, inspired by Corolla Trueno AE86. Below: Boxer engine inspired by Toyota S800. This engine's jointly developed with Subaru. Subaru provide the Boxer engine while Toyota provide the D4S Direction injection Dual VVTi.
