Honda Launched Facelift City

HONDA LAUNCHED "FACELIFT" CITY!

Honda yesterday launched Facelifted City.  On the outside, the changes are new front and rear bumpers, new grille and rear lights. Also, a NEW Colour.  Sparkling Brown Metallic (Above).   The Facelift is so predictable that I don't bother to check out the Facelift City at Honda Showroom.

But I heard that Waiting lists now stretched to 3 months and counting as I'm typing this.

Engine and gearbox combo remained unchanged at 120ps@6600rpm and 145Nm@4800rpm mated with 5 speed Automatic transmission.  This is good enough to propel the car from 0-100km/h at 10.9 secs (as tested by a Local Car Magazine) and top speed 190km/h.

The 1.5E now comes EXTRA with VSA as standard (NEW), front fog lights, retractable side mirrors (carried over), paddle shift (carried over), leather wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, 6 speakers instead of 4, and rear seat under tray (new).  16" alloy rims with weird 185/55R16 tyres (15" wheels with equally weird 175/65R15 tyres for 1.5Std).   

Common features are: whooping 506 litres boot space, ISOFIX Rear seat mounts (new), RDS Head unit with AUX/I-pod compatible USB in jack only (No more CD), Old school Air Cond controls (no climate control here), ECO Driving indicator (new), Dual Airbags, ABS+EBD+BA, 60:40 split fold rear seatback (NEW for 1.5Std), Centre rear headrests with centre 3 point seatbelts (new).  Lastly, New Dash meter and dashboard illuminations.  

ICING on the CAKE: 5 years Warranty unlimited mileage with alternate 10 free services for 100,000km.  Price?  RM500 increase across the range.  RM85,980 to RM90,980.
