MOVIE REVIEW: Motorway 《車手》

In this blog entry, I'm reviewing a Hong Kong Movie called "MOTORWAY 《車手》"
(预告片)".

This is an action packed Hong Kong crime drama. A must see for Car enthusiasts and drifters.  A rookie cop takes on a veteran getaway driver in a motorway showdown.

Sean (Shawn Yue) is an over-confident rookie in Stealth Riders, a secret police unit who target underworld racing and crime. Jensen (Xiadong Guo) is a legendary driver for criminals. When Sean happens upon Jensen, he outmaneuvers him and puts him in cuffs. As Sean brags, Jensen breaks out of prison with a fellow inmate and his motives becomes clear: he has let Sean capture him deliberately. The humiliation fires Sean up, and a second showdown beckons.

EYE CANDY: More voluptuous Barbie Hsu (no longer Anorexic).  Watch out for her sexy girl power snooker stunts.

Starring (HUMANS): Anthony Wong Chau-Sang, Shawn Yue, Xiaodong Guo, Barbie Hsu, Josie Ho, Lam Ka-tung, Michelle Ye

Starring (Cars): Nissan 180SX, Nissan Silvia (S15), Nissan Fairlady 300ZX, Audi A4 (B5), Nissan Cefiro, BMW Z4M, Audi TT, Mazda 626 (Police car), Toyota Camry (1998), Honda Civic EG9, Mercedes SLK and Nissan Skyline R32.

Directed by Pou-Soi Cheang ('New Blood', 'Dog Bite Dog')

Written by Joey O'Bryan, Kam-Yuen Szeto

MY RATING: 10/10 for actions, car chase and stunts, Overall movie (Storyline, plot) 8/10.
