MEGA Close Up: NEW Peugeot 208 1.6

In this blog entry, I'm posting a Close up Mega photo Gallery of Peugeot 208 1.6 Hatchback.  The 208 were launched in Malaysia back in April 2013.  Priced to sell at RM85,888 for 5 door Hatchback and RM95,888 for 3 door Hatchback.  The 208's powered by familiar PSA BMW Mini Prince NA engine as seen in Mini Cooper.  It's a inline 4, 1.6 DOHC 16v VTi generating 122ps@6000rpm and 160Nm@4250rpm mated with 4 speed Automatic with tiptronic.

This car's very well spec'ed with 6 airbags, Semi bucket seats (cloth for 5 doors and Semi leather for 3 doors), Digital dual zone Auto Air-cond, Front and rear Signature LED Lighting, Auto headlights and Auto wipers function, 60:40 split fold rear seat backs.  Advanced Trip computer, Sports steering wheel with Audio controls.  

Lastly, it's equipped with STATE OF THE ART Arkamys 3D sound audio system with Interactive HD Colour Touchscreen player and 6 speakers, USB+Bluetooth and audio streaming.

The 1.6 three-doors Additional features were Panoramic Roof with Mood lighting and 17" Two tone Alloy rims with Michelin 205/45R17 tyres. 

Rating: 8.8/10 for both 5 doors and 3 doors.

Sadly, I haven't got the chance to test drive this car yet.  All is NOT LOST, I dished out 100+ photos of this baby.  A picture's worth 1000 words.  Enjoy:

 The 5 doors gets this 2 tone Helium Alloy rims and 195/55R16 tyres.

 EXCELLENT Legroom and Headroom.  1 am 175cm and 90kg.

 The Peugeot 208 1.6 3dr came with the above 17" OXYGEN two-tone Alloy rims and 215/45R17 Michelin tyres.
