LONGTERMER 3: 40th month, Proton Waja 4G18 (A)

LONGTERMER 3: Volume 13, 40th month, Proton Waja 4G18 (A)

In this blog entry, I'm updating my Daily Ride, 2001 Proton Waja 4G18 Auto.  This is the 40th month I owned this car.  I bought this car from my Uncle back in 11 July 2011.  Yes, I've decided to revive my Longtermers.  It's been 20 months since I last update my daily ride.  Last update was back in March 2013!!!

Nothing much changes throughout the year of 2013.  This Waja requires LITTLE Maintenance.  Since last update back in March 2013, this baby only had 3 oil change.  ALL using Liqui Moly MOS/2 10W/40 Semi-synthetic oil (below).

2013 Maintenance highlights:

19/4/2013: PU Steering bush, front and rear engine mounting, Liqui Moly oil change - RM260 total

29/6/2013: New Alarm, replace foglights bulb

11/9/13: Plugs coil, valve cover gasket

26/10/13: STIFF RING.  Liqui Moly oil change

Bought Stiff Ring at RM188+50 labour = RM238.  Results: Priceless, much much improved ride and handling.

That's all for 2013.

2014 highlights:

Timing belt and Water pump changed on 15 Jan 2014 at 156,956km

16/5/2014: Battery change - RM200 only for Roadmaster NS60/L

8/6/2014: Oil change Liqui Moly and fill air cond gas (120+60)

Other toys:
Above: Avantree Original 2.1A+1.0A USB charger.  RM60.  Below: It powers my trusty WAZE on my Iphone 5.

Above: Car DVR bought from Lazada at RM62 only.  Decent quality.

This happened on my Birthday.  Morning, 13 August, 8.55am.  The Waja skidded, locked brake and crashed the divider.  2 corners away from my showroom.
