LONGTERMER 3: Volume 13, 40th month, Proton Waja 4G18 (A)
Nothing much changes throughout the year of 2013. This Waja requires LITTLE Maintenance. Since last update back in March 2013, this baby only had 3 oil change. ALL using Liqui Moly MOS/2 10W/40 Semi-synthetic oil (below).
2013 Maintenance highlights:
19/4/2013: PU Steering bush, front and rear engine mounting, Liqui Moly oil change - RM260 total
29/6/2013: New Alarm, replace foglights bulb
11/9/13: Plugs coil, valve cover gasket
26/10/13: STIFF RING. Liqui Moly oil change
Bought Stiff Ring at RM188+50 labour = RM238. Results: Priceless, much much improved ride and handling.

Timing belt and Water pump changed on 15 Jan 2014 at 156,956km
16/5/2014: Battery change - RM200 only for Roadmaster NS60/L
8/6/2014: Oil change Liqui Moly and fill air cond gas (120+60)

This happened on my Birthday. Morning, 13 August, 8.55am. The Waja skidded, locked brake and crashed the divider. 2 corners away from my showroom.
ABOVE: The road where the accident happened.
Above and below: 2 rims gone.
I had to resort to claim my own insurance. The Waja's at Workshop from 13 August to 18 September.
List of parts needs replacement:
1) Right side sport rims broken (sourced OEM Waja AAC rims for RM190)
2) All 4 absorbers needs changing
3) Radiator
4) Wiper washer reservoir
5) Lower arm
6) Driveshafts
7) Ball joint
8) 4 wheel bearings
9) New front mudgard
10) Respray whole right side panel.
11) New Front bumper
12) New front foglights
13) BASICALLY whole right side Undercarriage needs replacement.
I supplied the following parts:
2) NEW SACH Super Touring absorbers (with 1 year warranty) worth RM400
3) Paid for Original front bumper
TOTAL INSURANCE CLAIM RM5,600+

Mileage last update 149,000km (March 20) - month 20
Mileage today: 171,100km (29/11/14) - month 40
Mileage used in 20 months: 22,100km or 3 times oil change.
Average km: 1103.5km per month
BUT: From July onwards, my office moved from Damansara Perdana to Setia Alam. Monthly mileage hence doubled compared to May. Example:
Distance covered in May: 1070km.
Mileage used in July: 2100km. Below: Mileage at 30 July: 165,700km
Note: From 13 August to 18 September car is NOT Driven. So August and September Fuel Log incomplete.

FUEL CONSUMPTION:
BEST: 12.8km/l. 100% highway driving (to Penang). 726km per full tank.
WORST: 6.7km/l 100% City driving. Mere 342km per full tank.
LAST 4 months (July to November:
Best: 12.3km/l (100% highway)
Worst: 7.1km/l (My Garmin GPS Recordings). 100% city driving
Average: 9.63km/l (Garmin GPS recording)
ALL TIME:
BEST: 12.8km/l. 100% highway driving (to Penang). 726km per full tank.
