Close up: New Honda HRV

In this blog entry, I'm posting about the Newly launched Honda HRV.   The HRV Was launched Last Thursday.  I was at 3 different Honda Showrooms.  All 3 were PACKED with people.  I can't take any decent shots due to the amount of Crowds.

An attempt to test drive takes up to 30 minutes queue.  I walked away after learning their SUPER SHORT 3km test drive routes.  Shall try again by this weekend.

Anyway, I was Surprised by the "Announced OTR Price".  It's RM6k-8k lower than Salesman estimated during Mid-Valley Preview.  

Here are the OTR prices with Insurance.

HR-V S variant - RM 99,800.00

HR-V E variant - RM 108,800.00

HR-V V variant - RM 118,800.00

So I'm not surprised that the Waiting list now stretched ranging from 1 month (S spec) to 6 months (for Ruse Black, V-spec).

The HRV comes with 1 Engine and Gearbox Combo across the range:  

The 1.8 Engine's from Civic, producing 142ps@6500rpm and 172Nm@4300rpm.  It's mated with  CVT gearbox taken from Honda Jazz.

Unlike the Jazz and City, this HRV comes with 4 disc brakes.

S spec gets:

- Flip-key keyless entry (no Push start)

S spec top up RM9k for E spec gets the following:
