LONGTERMER #3, Vol 8: Proton Waja 1.6 4G18P (A)

In this blog entry, I'm updating my daily ride, the Proton Waja 1.6(A) 4G18.  This is the 8th update and 11th month I owned this car.  Eagle eyed reader will noticed that my last update was back in February 2012.  Why?

It's because I have nothing to update OR I didn't incur any major expenses until last week.  Don't worry, I'll cover back my Mileage, Fuel consumption and expenses over last 3 months so you won't missed anything despite the 3 months hiatus.

Last week, I renewed my Road tax  and insurance.  Since this is a >10 years old car, AIA charged me 15% loading and my agent added RM100 to insure the windscreen.  Total damage: RM479.33 add road tax of RM90+2 (renewed at post office add RM2) = RM571.33.

Also, at my previous update, I mentioned my labrador Pluto, well, his wound's all healed and fur grew back.  He no longer needs to ride my Waja.

Between April to May, my dad's oversea most of the time, so I drove his Civic FD2 and covered roughly 250km hence the lowest mileage covered on my Waja over the past 11 months.

On 22 March 2012, my car scratched+dent as I was driving out of my porch at night.  Apparently, my sister's MYVI Bumblebee parked too centre  (Should park slanting towards the left), I tried to avoid her car, but brushed the Auto gate.  I leave it as it is and within 24 hours, the bare metal part rusted :(    Here's the damage below:

Above: My last day at Walton Berhad taken at Wisma Genting's Podium parking taken on 22 March 2012.  (NOTE THE WIDE 16:9 photo.  Thanks to my new Camera Phone Nokia N8 Belle).

That's all folks, thanks for having the time and patience to read this blog entry.  An original Jeff Lim aka. Otoreview's work.  NOT to be copied.  See you on my 1st anniversary update on mid-July 2012 (ie. 2 months time).  I shall upgrade my front brake pads (last change July 2006! according to previous owner's service record) and perhaps oil change.
