i10 update: Goodbye Dunlop J5, Hello CEAT Ecodrive

After 41 months and 40,250km, I finally bid farewell to my trusty old Dunlop SP Sport J5.  1 of the tyre punctured 3 months back (1 screwdriver), the patched up hole too big...  Slowly losing air to the point I pump tyre pressure every other day.  I bought these tyres back in 29 December 2016.  Mileage back then was 46495km, mileage upon tyre change 86475km. 

Below are the Dunlop SP Sport J5 tyres wear condition after 41 months or 40250km.

After a call to my Friend.  I was referred to Owen Hew of San Xing Auto Centre.  

He recommended me a CBU Made in India but UK spec tyres.

Fuel Consumption:

BEST: 436km / 29.272l / 14.9km/l  (90% Highway/ 10% city, Melaka day trip). Petron RON95

WORST: 170km / 24.04l /  7.06km/l.  (90% City, 1 hour KL Jam)  Petronas RON95

Average: 9.1km/l. Mixed driving.

Top speed: 170km/h.  0-100km/h: 12.2 secs.
