There are Ten high definition televisions from Sharp and five pairs of AirAsia return tickets will be among the prizes to be won at the CarSifu Auto Show 2016 that will be held at 1 Utama Shoping Centre, Petaling Jaya, from yesterday to Oct 30. Under the Book and Win contest, visitors need to book a car to stand a chance to win two 58-inch Full HD Sharp televisions, eight Sharp 50-inch UHD televisions and a pair of AirAsia return tickets each to Sapporo, Japan; Hong Kong; Bali; Da Nang, Vietnam and Luang Prabang, Laos.
The auto show, which opens from 10am to 10pm, will be on a display area of 12,188sq ft around the Highstreet concourse area of the shopping mall. Here are the List of Carsifu Car of the Year winners, ALL will be on display on the Motor Show.
There will also be a CarSifu Snap & Win contest where a visitor can take a selfie and bring the picture to the Star Media Group booth to claim a prize. In addition, there will be attractive deals and sales promotions from individual car companies.
Fun quiz activities will also be held throughout the auto show period where visitors can win perfume cards, drawstring bags, luggage tags, umbrellas, key chains, road tax stickers, non-woven bags, backpacks and car-branded badges.
Car brands participating in the five-day auto show are Chevrolet, Citroen, Honda, Isuzu, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Perodua, Proton, Renault, Volvo and Volkswagen.
About 30 cars will be displayed and some will be made available for test drives on a route around Bandar Utama.
Car companies will be displaying their latest models including some which have recently won the CarSifu Editors’ Choice Awards 2016.
At the CarSifu Editors’ Choice Awards 2016 gala dinner in Royale Chulan Damansara on Oct 6, Honda’s Civic 1.5 TC-P was adjudged the “Car of the Year.”
Thanks to its styling, features, sharp handling, comfortable ride and accessible pricing of RM135,800 on-the-road, the sleek and sporty sedan also won the Best Mid-size Car category, one of the 22 categories put up for competition.
This is the first such awards organised by The Star Media Group.
