888th post: Post GST Prices from 9 car Brands

The 9 brands consists of: Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Perodua, Subaru and Hyundai.  This is my 888th post, do Congratulate me.  I'm A bit sad that it's NOT MY ORIGINAL WORK.  Sources Clearly stated.

Kia: Minimal changes.

 Mazda.  Revealing their NEW Mazda 3 Skyactiv CKD and Mazda 6 Facelift pricing.  major changes are the Mazda 8 at RM2,000 cheaper, Mazda CX5 CKD 4x2 at RM7,000 cheaper.

 Mitsubishi, not much changes.

 Nissan.  CBU Pricing unchanged.  Only CKD prices minimal changes.

 Perodua.  RM95 to RM650 cheaper,

Subaru.  Again, minimal difference, Only Major changes is the BRZ.  A Whooping RM12,300 cheaper.



LASTLY, Otoreview's EXCLUSIVE.  Hyundai POST GST Pricing.  For the first time, Revealing the Veloster Turbo and Genesis Price.

    Hi...stumbled upon your blog...interesting blog.
    Unrelated to GST....regarding 2nd hand car prices
    why is it when I do the calculation a luxury car MB only depreciates <15% in the first year and over 5 years it only depreciates <10%
    this is totally less than what car enthusiasts claims 1st year upto 30% and average 15% per year

  2. our calculation is only valid for A, B and C-class or Mercedes below 2000cc.

    This can't be apply for S500, CL500, E63 and other high MB. Especially 3000cc and above. Due to prohibitive Road tax in Malaysia. Eg. S55 roadtax is RM39,760 annually for company registration. Hence affects resale value.
